Sadvichar Parivar Hospital proudly announces the inauguration of the Lions Mammography Center, the first of its kind in Panchmahal at a trust hospital, offering services at subsidized rates. This significant development was made possible through the dedicated efforts of J.P. Trivedi and Prabhudayal Verma, past Multiple Chairman of Lions Club Godhra, with the cooperation of Trustee Sri Na of the Sadvichar family and the Lions Club.

Inaugural Celebration and Acknowledgments

The center was inaugurated by Ramesh Prajapati, who served as the chief guest at the event. In his address, he lauded the consistent and impactful service of the Lions Club and the exemplary care provided by Sadvichar Parivar Hospital, often referred to as the PT Meerani Hospital, synonymous with perfect treatment. Special acknowledgment was given to donor Mr. Harshadbhai, whose generous donation of additional land has supported the expansion of hospital facilities, including this essential mammography center and an elder care center. His vision and support were celebrated as vital to the project’s success.

The hospital’s development was guided by the vision of the President of Sadvichar, under whose leadership the first Dialysis Center in Panchmahal was also established. Minister Shri Prakash Dixit, who provided a detailed briefing about the hospital’s expansion and services, highlighted the community-focused vision that drives the hospital’s growth and service offerings.

The mammography center, a project passionately led by JP Trivedi, focuses on the vital need for women to prioritize their health. Emphasizing the importance of regular screenings, Trivedi advocates for all women over the age of 40 to undergo mammography screening, particularly noting the critical nature of early detection for women who became mothers after the age of 30, or those observing any changes in breast tissue or other concerning symptoms. On the day of your mammogram, do not wear deodorant, perfume, powders, or ointments on your chest and underarm areas as these can appear as white spots on the x-ray. Wear comfortable clothing as you will need to undress from the waist up for the procedure.

Some women may experience discomfort during the mammogram due to the compression of the breast required to obtain clear x-rays. However, the procedure is quick, and the discomfort lasts only a short time.
